Collaborations

Always attentive to the surrounding world—and the university community in particular—eLabor has collaborated with the University of Pisa to support students in the preparation of their theses.

Department of Computer Science – “La maledizione del Lucchetto Tagliato”
Pietro Calzedda — who later became a partner at our firm — based his thesis, La maledizione del Lucchetto Tagliato., on a project called “Lucchetto Virtuale” (developed in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science) that addressed the issue of bicycle theft.

Department of Engineering – “La valutazione economica degli investimenti nel campo delle energie rinnovabili. Studio di fattibilità di due casi”
In collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, we contributed to Alessandro Stefanini’s thesis. He has granted us permission to publish both the thesis itself (part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5) and the presentation prepared for his defense (this is a slightly more detailed version).

Department of Mathematics – “Modello di ottimizzazione per la schedulazione del personale infermieristico di una residenza assistita”
Serena Cortopassi, a student in the Department of Mathematics, wrote her thesis based on an eLabor project. The title is Modello di ottimizzazione per la schedulazione del personale infermieristico di una residenza assistita. This is the presentation used during the thesis defense.

We also operate in the field of international cooperation, working closely with African initiatives such as the one led by Father Kizito.
